Happy Late Bookaversary!

Hello, Readers!

This post is coming at you a little late. My husband and I were looking at some things, and he brought up that the first of February was actually a bookaversary. It is the four year anniversary from when I published my first novel. Now that novel is no longer available as I have learned so much since then, and it is in serious need of a rehaul.

That being said as creative types we remain in a learning state, but it’s been a huge gap from where I started to where I am today. I am currently working on a new horror, and I managed to get close to 2k down in a day. It isn’t as great as I hoped to work, nor as bad as it was going. I find that though I want to stick to a schedule it is easy to fall back into old habits.

I need to keep my focus on what is important, and keep working. I will be getting another late start, and while I always struggle to write the first few chapters of a novel, once I get into the flow I’m usually golden. I am currently procrastinating my way through the first chapters of course. However, I know I’m at the brink of it all taking off, and then I’ll write like crazy.

It’s 3:30 pm here, and while my family is home for the day, I still have so much work to do. Okay, I haven’t even started. (Yeesh, breaking bad habits is rough to do). Now, I’m diving into work to get it finished.

Remember L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it just isn’t worth doing it.
