Hello, readers!

I have yet to sit down, and actually work on my writing. I found my way onto Youtube, and fell down the rabbit hole that it is. That being said I did come up with what I think are some treasures. I discovered a youtube video for organizing writers notebooks. Okay, I actually found a lot of tips for such a thing.

It inspired me to dig out all my own notebooks, and get organized. What a hot mess that was. I have snippets of novels, notes, story ideas all over in these things. I even found bits that do not belong in my writing notebooks in them. Much like my career over the last five years they were broken and scattered. That is okay though. I can tear them apart, and organize them nice and neat into three ring binders, which I intend to do as soon as I can make it to a store to purchase some.

However, in the meantime I did find a few that I hadn’t used much. They are now nicely organized. One for the horror novel I am currently working on, and another for my general notes, thoughts, story idea compilation.

Along my rabbit hole travels I ran into some older videos from the girls at Word Nerds. I love their vlogs, because they are inspirational, and uplifting. Though, I didn’t count I finding one of the biggest gems in them. Little did I know two years ago this vlog came out on their channel, and it contained something I will be using. It’s a website that works like NaNoWriMo, where you set your own monthly goals, daily goals, and you can track it all right there. There is a section with graphs so you can monitor your progress, and a place where you can write on the goal, and mail yourself what you’ve written.

I am a very visual person, so this is an incredible asset to me. I will link it all for you to check out, and the Youtube channel for them. Please subscribe to their channel, and enjoy their helpful videos, write-ins, and encouragement.
