Querying

Hello, Readers!

I was at a loss on what to share with all of you this morning. This week has passed in an array of fevered delusions,  a lot of naps, and a crashed network frenzy. It’s been a week. Let me tell you, not much happening on the writing front while I recover.

Anyway, I was watching some of my writing videos, and I came across some valuable information that I thought you all might be interested in knowing.

Querying is definitely something I’m not looking forward to in all of this process as I think my query letters will need some serious work. However, finding an agent to query your work to just got a little easier, I believe.

Did you know that there is a website that contains information about different agents looking for work, and even down to the specifics of work that they are looking for? Check out here.  You can also follow the #MSWL over on twitter to see what agents are seeking currently.

If you have something that fits within their wants go to their websites to query, do not reply directly to their tweets. It will do you no good, and will surely turn them away from your work. It is not an opening for you to pitch them your work. Save that for your query letters.

Now, time for me to get to work. I hope some of this helps any of you out there. If you’ve used this method or will be doing so, let me know down in the comments how that is going.

Remember, L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
