Ahhh, spring break!

Hello, Readers!

It’s Wednesday – already?! Wow, just wow. Time has flown by so quickly. My daughter went on spring break…we will say at the end of school bell on Friday. Alarms were shut down on my half due to the fact that I no longer had to wake her up for the week. Part of me rejoiced at this. No more alarms meant I got to sleep in. Ah, the glory.

Let me tell you what I’ve learned about myself so far. I am no good without alarms and schedules. I need these. So far this weeks has been rapid meals quickly thrown together at the last second because time has passed in the blink of an eye.

I wake up, make my first cup of tea, and it’s seven at night. That’s the way it’s felt.

This is not a healthy way to live. I can fill you in on seasons of stupid shows on Netflix and Hulu. My overall quality family time, nonexistent. Again. I blink, the day is gone.

Today I pulled my head out of this induced coma like living, and went it’s Wednesday, April 6th, and I’ve accomplished nothing. There are more X’s on my calendar than word count. While I have been editing I can’t even say I’ve been doing that to the best of my ability. It’s been a sluggish trudge through that as well.

This is definitely no way that I want to continue moving on with this month which means my alarm goes back on for the day, and I start participating in life once more. I have things I need to accomplish, goals to reach for, and a house in desperate need of attention. If all of this isn’t motivating factors I need time with my family.

Now, back to fixing plots and getting them ready to go so, I can edit here in a bit. I hope you all have found yourselves far more productive.

Remember L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.

    1. Yeah, sometimes life can get away from you. I know I need to make more of a conscious effort to get everything back on track or moving forward at least. I don’t like standing still in things I love to do. It makes me antsy. Even if I just squeeze in a few minutes here and there.
