Hello, Readers!

In a world full of rapid results we as a society have come to expect this from all avenues of life. We, after all, are trained that this is how things work.

Push the power switch on your computer, viola, it boots up in seconds. If it doesn’t…well, it’s broken and must be fixed.

In a rush for food? Take out, or microwave some dish or another. Minutes, and you’re eating.

This continues through all avenues of life. You see it in all the articles, get rich quick schemes, Lose x amount of pounds in x amount of days, become a best-selling novelist in x amount of days. This goes on and on.

Truth is, nothing worth having is ever that easy. Do you want to get rich? Bust your ass people. Think outside of the box. Work smarter, harder, and keep fighting for your goals. Don’t expect some handout, or express lane to get there.

Do you want to lose weight? Every day, make smart decisions. Get up off your ass and workout. Sweat buckets upon buckets of water. Eat right. Work hard. There is no get skinny fast way of life. It takes work. Hard work. Every day. Make the decision that is your goal, and keep reaching for it.

Do you want to be a bestselling novelist? Put in the time. Write through every lull, every tear-filled day, and keep writing even when you want to give up. Like everything else, there is no quick way to the top. Fight for what you want. Keep fighting for it. Hone your skills by writing more and more. When it gets too hard and quitting seems so much easier….write anyway.

There are no quick ways to be thinner, get rich faster, be a bestselling novelist, award-winning…You can insert your dream profession here. Everything and anything worth having takes hard work. It takes you getting up in that morning, and saying today I will try again, try harder, work harder, and I won’t give up. When you’re crawling into bed thinking you simply can’t do anymore, whisper to yourself, tomorrow I will try again.

If you want something bad enough to give it everything you have, and then after…give it more. Don’t give up. Stop looking for quick ways to do anything. It’s a waste of time. Time that could be better spent on logging the hours to get to your goal.  It’s a journey, not a sprint. Quick looking for the easy ways to life and work hard.

Remember L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
