Finishing New Material

Hello, Readers! It’s Monday. Yes, I hear the grumbles from here. Don’t worry, I have my own. I’m not particularly fond of Mondays myself, but it does allow me to get work done through the week. Often times my weekends aren’t as productive as I’d like them to be. Actually, considering that maybe I should take the weekend and write the blog posts for the week to preschedule so I can focus during the week? That is definitely a thought.

I did get work done on Saturday like I said in a previous post. Sunday saw no work. Sigh. I guess I can’t win them all. I did have a girls night with my sisters. It was fun, but I had to admit my mind was home with my manuscript. That tends to happen when I want so badly to finish work and I haven’t given myself the time to accomplish that goal. I’ve spent a lot of time putting my writing on a back burner, and it’s so easy to fall into old habits. I don’t want to be a dabbler or one that pursues writing as a hobby. I need to work on that more still.

As for today, I will be finishing up the second chapter and giving it a quick read through. It’s been a start and stop type of chapter and I need to make sure that it reads like it should. That is the problem with constantly being interrupted while working. You lose your flow to your writing.

After all of that, it’ll be on to the already written material that needs a serious cleaning up and rewriting as I go. It shouldn’t be quite as difficult as it’s all there, it’s just a matter of it reading better with more details. So with that said…

Remember L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.

  1. I do schedule most of my blog posts during the weekend it is helping a lot now if I could get up early every day LOL

    1. Oh that would be nice. My schedule is all over the map still. Sometimes I’m up at night working and other times I’m lucky if I get to work by noon. My focus is terrible right now.
