Happy Monday, Readers! I know, I grumbled a little typing it.
Some of you may know that I tend to participate in Camp Nano and Nanowrimo when they come around. April Camp Nano was a complete and utter bust for me. I’ve tried to look back and analyze why that is and I don’t know. There is no reason that April is a busier month for me then November. I think it comes down to being determined at that point. I’m not as focused during camps as I should be.
However, I’m crazy enough to keep trying. Even though I’m still working on the second draft edits for my current horror novel I’m going to take on Camp Nano by storm. That means I’ll be balancing construction along with edits. It should be interesting or a complete and utter disaster. I’m hoping more for interesting. Each day I’ll be making the choice on which way it leans more toward by choosing to force myself to work even on days where I don’t ‘feel like it’.
Since I’ve made this final call so close to the end of the month it means I will be doing the mad scramble yet again to get my plot worked out. Hmm, maybe that is part of the reason why I suffer during Camp Nano as well. I’m never as prepared as I’d like to be. No matter, I’m determined to win.
After all, I always work better under chaos. Today will see both a rewrite of a chapter and the start of plotting so I at least have the seven major plot points for the main plot and subplots ready to go. It’ll be madness I say, utter madness.
However as I’m so behind I need to get to work.
Until next time. Remember L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
