When The Ideas Come Flooding In

Hello, Readers.

During this downtime between books, I’ve read one amazing book ‘Writing Fantasy & Science Fiction; How to create out-of-this-world novels and short stories‘. I wasn’t sure how the book would turn out as I’ve purchased many writing help books that just didn’t seem to hack it. While I won’t follow the book verbatim through world development I would easily put this book in writers bible status. It has entire sections that breaks down parts of castles, armor, different types of magics, races and such that have been developed over time. Not to mention, it goes into things you might not think about when it comes to fantasy. Hands down this is one of my favorite writing help books so far.

Recently, however, the hubby man has purchased me another writing book. While I haven’t sat down to read it cover to cover yet, I can tell by simply glancing through it that this book will become yet another one of my favorites. It not only goes through the process of writing but the mental components that come with it. I can’t wait to dig in to read ‘Author in Progress‘. That will be my next book I work on with reading.

As for on the writing front ‘Malevolent Mind’ is still awaiting the editing process. During this time I have a few story ideas that have come flooding in with great force so I will be jotting down notes on them all while deciding which one to take on next. They also have varying genres from fantasy to horror so I shall be staying in speculative fiction for the time being.

As always, my readers, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
