I have this image in my head of a new character. She is spunky, cute, and she won’t leave me alone. I don’t mean in that whole she talks to me thing, but in the fact that I can’t seem to get her out of my head.
I’ve been working on laying out this plot line for a dark fantasy, but she doesn’t fit into the scene. In fact, so far I’ve tried to fit her into two different stories and it isn’t working.
Sometimes there is just something about a character that you know you have to write them. Good or bad, you can’t move past it until you get that story down on paper. While I don’t fully know this character’s story, I can tell I’m not going to be able to move on until I get her story down.
I suppose it is time to quit fighting it and get the story down. I’m sure I will feel much better when I’m not at this stand still between what I think I should be writing and what I am writing. It’s time to create the world for her to live in and discover what it is about her that I’m so intrigued with.
As for Malevolent Mind, it is going through the check with Createspace once more as it ran into a slight error that was quickly fixed. Still, it takes a 24 hour period for the review process before you can order your proof copy. Hopefully, tomorrow I can say that the proof copy is being printed and it’ll be on its way. I’m still working out the book release fun and will have details for you soon.
Until then, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
