Hello, Readers!

This post isn’t quite as serious as the pretentious title suggests. Merely, I have this huge addiction for stationary. I can’t tell you how many notebooks I own that partially filled or not at all. They are everywhere. It seems every project that runs through my head has a notebook rather it needs it or not. Apparently, this has become part of my creative process. I now own two very nice leather notebooks with hard enough covers they can travel with me.

This is due to the fact that one as it gets warmer out I like to work in all sorts of places and unfortunately the sun heats my laptop up way too quick. That doesn’t mean I won’t use my laptop either. Again, half-filled notebooks. I generally start in a notebook, but once the story takes off I move to a computer so I can work faster.

I’ve been terrible about upkeeping this blog lately. It’s a by-product of having so much to do in my house to get it clean once more and the fact that I’m adjusting to a new healthier lifestyle. It works amazing at shedding the pounds, but for the first week or two of being on it, you feel like death warmed over.

Again one of the bonuses to having notebooks beside you for quick writing sessions. Also during my downtime, I’ve been reading The Kick-Ass Writer by Chuck Wending. It is hysterical, truthful to the point of stinging and motivating at the same time. I never know how he manages to do that, but I love it. I suppose that is why his blog is so insanely popular for us writerly folks.

That being said I’m going to hurry along to get the rest of my morning finished so I can settle into writing. Remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
