Hello, Readers!

Yesterday I started reading a new writing book that the hubby man bought me. It is Writing and Selling Your Mystery Novel, Revised and Expanded. So far, I’m really enjoying the novel. I can’t say that it is amazing just yet as I’m only eighteen pages in.

It’s funny how much I forgot that having little ones around all the time meant you have limited reading time while they’re awake. Still, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

However, back to this book, I love the fact that it has breakdowns of a major plotting technique included in the book. Each section goes through and tells you about the importance of such details and how to make it work for you, then it has you fill out the matching sections on the large plotting method. It gives you the ability to print out the pages so that you can use them over and over again also.

Yesterday, I print out all the pages and put them in a three ring binder for me to use. It was made a bit more difficult as my editor cat sat there chasing the pages through the printer, but the mission was accomplished.

Today, I will be reading more as well as filling out some of the sections. I also need to make it out to a few stores in the next couple of days as of Sunday we are off to the zoo. We also need to get my oldest daughter and I dresses for my youngest ones Quinceneara in August. Plus at some point, I need to rent a storage shed to clean out a few closets in this place and put some of my daughter’s things into that she doesn’t need right now. The hubby man wants the boxes and things moved into the storage shed before his parents arrive in a few weeks.

So, all in all, I have plenty of things to keep me busy. Yet, today I only want to read this novel and work on the parts it goes over. Maybe I’ll take a lazy day when it comes to the house, and party things today.

Anyway, time to steal a few more moments to read while the oldest grandson is eating. Remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
