Yesterday, The Hubby Man took me to the zoo for my birthday celebration. It was a whole lot of fun as we had the girls and our grandbabies with us. I really think, my nearly two-year-old, grandson had a blast. They have a small splash pad area inside of it that he loved. It was a whole lot of fun to spend time with my younger sister and her man there as well. They made me cupcakes and bought me books for my birthday. I felt so spoiled and blessed all in one.
Needless to say though as we spent from opening to almost close in the blistering heat and sun that I came home with a bad sunburn on my face and chest. It’s left me more than a little exhausted today. While I’d love to take today and sleep, it isn’t going to happen as we also get to take the boys to their doctor appointments this afternoon for shots.
I know they are both going to be miserable the rest of the night which will suck. It’ll also make it complicated to get work done as my oldest grandson is a grandma’s boy lately. Not that I’m complaining one bit. I love the fact he wants me around him.
I’m sure once the exhaustion recedes I’ll be back to my chipper self. Until then I will chug along through plotting out this next novel and work on getting it written. I’ve committed to it this time around and rather I actually go back through and edit to release it is something I will decide later, but for now, I need to finish the first draft of this novel. No more messing around.
Until then, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
