Eye Strain or Cluster Headache

Hello, Readers!

I am so behind today. I’ve been laid up in bed with an eye mask on to keep as much light out as possible. I awoke today with one of the worst migraines I’ve felt in a long time, right behind my eyes. I’m unsure if it was due to the fact that this weekend I took it all off and let myself be absorbed in a computer game. I did little, but play the game, which is truly unusual for me. I’m normally one that doesn’t decompress in such a way. Anyway, it definitely left its mark with the headache today.

As for my writing, last week was a phenomenal week for me writing wise. There wasn’t a day that I didn’t write something. I couldn’t be more proud of the way that turned out.

I’ve also hit that point in which I struggle to keep pushing through a novel. I’ve found a serious weakness in the novel that I’m writing and while I knew there would have to be a rewrite, it is hard to keep pushing through this draft without really getting into the characters better.

Still, I know pushing through to the end is the best way to do things. I really want strong characters that live off the page instead of all sounding the same. That is one thing that I’ve really been working on the last few years and hope to continue the learning process to really bring them to life.

Sorry, this blog post is so short. I may throw in an additional one this week to make up for this quick one.

Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
