I’m one of those types of people that I have a lot of half-finished projects around here. I absolutely love crafts. All types of them from clay work to crochet to even rug work I even have a few afghans lying around here that have never been finished.
It’s about time I get these projects finished so I can move on to other projects that I want to accomplish. It’s hard, though, because I go through waves of wanting to do certain crafts. I often switch between projects depending on my mood. Needless to say, it has also taken a toll on my writing from time to time as well.
There are countless half-written novels in the graveyard for my writing. Some served the purpose of teaching me some aspect of writing that I didn’t have, while others just fell into the hole of no forward momentum until a shiny new idea took my attention away.
Now that I have my writing back on track and goals set in place, it’s time to dig out old craft projects and finish those as well. I know I will feel so much better once I do. Here I will detail out the projects I’m working on and give patterns or such as I go. Even post pictures of finished projects.
Until then, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
