Happy Saturday to all of you.
I’ve gotten myself on track and I’m feeling amazing. I have switched the entire way that I eat and have been focusing more on eating things that bring my body energy. While I do eat smaller portions I don’t actually consider it a diet. I get to eat all of my favorites, just in smaller portions and fruit.
Now that I have that part of my healthier living down I’ve gotten out to hike and take walks more often. Yesterday, the hubby man and I decided to add a bit more fun to our explorations. I told him about geocaching. How it is a treasure hunt and little prize exchange fun. We both downloaded the app on our phones and surprise, there are a ton of locations around us. It was pretty exciting to see.
I’d seen it on a few shows, but never thoughts much about it other than I’m too big to do that. I’ve cleaned up my negative self-talk so, I know that I can do these treasure hunts. It also helps serve the purpose of getting me out of the house, walking, and exploring.
If that wasn’t enough of excitement on Thursday, the hubby man got me an Easter/Mother’s Day gift. I’ve wanted a better point and shoot camera than the one we already have. However, until I could afford one I was working with the little point and shoot camera. Most of my pictures have been around the Duck Pond so far, but we plan on getting out on more adventures. To help me enjoy it all a bit more he bought me a candy apple red Nikon Coolpix. I’m so excited to work with it. I toyed with it a bit last night when we got home, but I’m eager to take it out this weekend and really try it out.
I’ve been selling the pictures on the side from the point and shoot and know that as I learn more skills this will increase. I can’t wait to share with all of you some of the pictures.
Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
