Bringing Old Habits Back

Hello, Readers!

I’ve fallen off the bandwagon so far that it isn’t even funny. Between forgetting to blog for long periods, to not writing in my journal or even writing at all. I let the hustle and bustle of every day life over run my days and I tossed my schedule out to the wind.

It has caused havoc in my life. I’m not sleeping regularly and by the time night comes my brain is still wired and ready to go. There have also been way too many hours spent staring at my phone and forgetting about life in general.

Now that the holidays are behind us, the breakdown of Christmas stuff is complete and the house being scrubbed up and returned to normal, it is time to bring my life back in order.

As I’ve wrote about I’ve gotten a bullet journal up and going, ready for this coming quarter. I have a schedule set for when I’ll be releasing and what I’ll be working on. That will help as well.

Currently, The Opseti Guard is with my editor, the cover is complete as well. My cover artist will also do the formatting once it is ready and the cover for book 2, Poisonous Revenge. I’m working on contacting a promotional company to help with the release of The Opseti Guard, which hopefully will be done around the end of this month or beginning of next. Poisonous Revenge will follow the month after.

I will also be writing book 3 during this time and starting that today. Even with my late start, there are many things I hope to accomplish before the day is out. It simply means I need to get a bigger move on it to get it done in time to watch shows and spend time with my family to welcome in the new year with a glass of wine.

I know my schedule will be a little wonky as everyone doesn’t return to school or work until later in the week, but I need to return to work now. I’ve taken far too much time off and I’m starting to feel on edge about it all. There is too much I wish to accomplish to continue to take any further days off.

Tell me, do you get all edgy if you take too much time off your goals and aspirations? How do you cope with that?

Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (live it, own it, love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
