On The Horizon

Hello, Readers!

I have to say that things have been busy since I’d decided to start my January on a different day after there were so many setbacks in the beginning. Which really just goes to say that I had enough of sitting around and got to work.

The Opseti Guard is still with my editor and she assures me that the first pass should be done by the end of this week. I have to admit to being super excited to see what she’s done with it to clean it up. Once I receive that then I will go over it and get it back to her for the second round of edits, at least. I will be contacting my cover artist to set up the formatting for this novel ready to go for when the editing is finished.

Poisonous Revenge which is the second book in that series is currently with betas and getting their overall fixes as well. Once that is finished then it will be off to the editor as well. When it comes to the cover for Poisonous revenge I’m hoping that will be started soon, as I have a conversation with my cover artist set up for today.

Book three, which is tentatively called Blood Magic at this time had a false start at the beginning of this month. While I believe it is a slow start I will be beginning this novel today once more. The due date for this novel is by the end of this month so I certainly have my work cut out for me.

All in all, I have to say that things are moving quickly with the novels and I’m excited about that. I do have some exciting news as I contacted Ellie a few days back to do a fantasy map to include in the novels. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with the picture I sent her. This is quite an incredible step as it feels like things are coming together for me.

This has already been an amazing year. Here is to making this one be a productive one. Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
