A Project From The Heart

Hello, Readers!

Today I want to talk to you about something that myself and my sisters have been working on.

For sometime now my older sister has wanted us to all get together to make blankets for the local hospitals and fire stations. So that those that are in need will have a little something to bring them comfort in a time of trial.

We all arrived to her house last weekend with our sewing machines and various other things to contribute to the project. We’d started earlier in the day than most of our girls days and we were prepared to work until quite late.

She surprised us by buying a pattern for stuffed animals as well. That way a small child could have a toy to bring them comfort as well. So, we worked hard making blankets for the stuffed animals and sewing them. While we didn’t get as many done as we’d hoped for given it took us a while to decipher the terrible instructions on the pattern, we did succeed to make some.

Here is pictures of the ones we did manage to get finished:

Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
