I have to say since I’ve received my planner last week I haven’t been doing it any justice. Things have been so chaotic for months and they are finally returning to normalcy with the Hubby Man returning to work at his actual building. Not to mention, our teenage daughter is adjusted over to her new classes as well.
That isn’t to say that I haven’t been extremely lazy, because that has definitely been a thing. Blood Magic should have been really close to the finish line by this point and I’m not even at the halfway mark.
I’ve tried not applying pressure to myself to avoid an anxiety attack. I have been handwriting which seems to help to a degree as well. There have been many things I’ve attempted to try to get myself moving on this project. However, so far it is a slow-moving thing.
While I’m trying to be okay with it, I’m quite frankly not. My insides are a torrid mess of self-deprecation and depression. I know what I’m capable of and I haven’t even been performing at 50%. I’m awake all night and I’m sleeping most of the day.
Which, wouldn’t be such a big deal if I was working during that time, but by the time I awake for the day I’ve already lost a good chunk of it. So, my body is slower to get moving and by the time I remotely get to moving, everyone is returning home from their places of school and work.
So, I will be continuing to work with this planner until I can find a method that works for me.
As for The Opseti Guard, we are almost there. The final edits came back last night and I dug right into them. Now I will give it a final read through while I’m gathering up the front matter. That way once I have the map ready for the book it’ll be a quick insert before it goes off to be formatted.
At this point, I am looking at a mid to late February release with it. Soon now Poisonous Revenge will begin to move through the editing as well giving it a tentative mid-March to April release date. At least, this where I’m aiming for currently.
All while Blood Magic should be close on the tail of all of those.
Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.
