I am so excited and ready to dig into book three so that it may see a release date in probably late spring or summer time. At least, that is the goal. However, I need to bump the short story for the anthology before the third book. It won’t take me long to write it once I have the idea.
Problem is coming up with it. A dear friend of mine told me to link it back to the Treaty of Dragons series. I believe she is right there. Thank you, Ellie, for the advice. So, now I’m trying to find the best part of it all to bring into the anthology. I want it to be something memorable that will draw you into the series further.
Of course, maybe thinking that way is what is stalling me. I’m putting so much pressure on this small story, that it makes it difficult to fully form an idea. I want it to be this huge thing and I’m forgetting that making it entertaining will be the most benefit.
True to things that I puzzle about and write in my journal, I believe I have just figured out my problem. Like when I write my novels I want them to be this huge thing and simply making them entertaining with fantastic characters is what makes them rememberable.
Now, I’m sure I have a great short story to companion the series. The ideas are bubbling now that I pulled this weight off them. Which is great because I’m so ready to work on book three. I’ve been dreaming about it for a week now.
Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing,
