Book Three and Counting

Hello, Readers!

Today is the first day of spring. I can feel it in the air. Our porch door stays open more often than not and the hubby man has started a craft that takes a lot of outdoor work, so he is excited. While the actual nature of said project is a mystery to me. He is keeping it a secret.

Soon we will begin our walks at the duck pond once more. As that particular park is up on the side of the mountain, which we live close to, it still can be quite a bit chillier than down in the valley. While we are clear of snow, they are probably still a bit frozen up that way.

Now, all of that being said, it is time to really dig into book three. Also, book two will be going to my editor in the next little bit. I have to get my work schedule back on track. I’ve let it slip for far too long.

Plus, I’ve signed up for Camp Nano in April. For those of you that may not know, like NaNoWriMo you spend a month reaching a goal rather it being writing or editing. Unlike NaNoWriMo, it has the ability to adjust into any word count goal that you wish to set it for. If this may be something you are interested in signing up for, or if you teach a creative writing class or even English you can bring it into your school as a class project or after school project like a club even. You can find more information here.

I will be using April to finish up book three and work on my short story project for the charity anthology. I have the plot for both all sorted and have been ready to begin for some weeks.

True to all momentum, once you stop the motion of it all it becomes hard to get moving once more, but once you do it would propel you forward once again. So, now it is a matter of forcing myself to sit down and do the work until the momentum takes over again.

It definitely isn’t a lack of interest in the book. I also have book four plotted as that was the original book three until I decided to change it up a bit. However, that being said I may make adjustments with that one when the time comes as it will change a bit.

Today, I will work on writing at least chapter one if not two as well. It is time to settle in and begin a new novel ready for your reading. Thank you all for the support you have shown with book one and the welcome it has received from readers everywhere.

If you haven’t purchased it or read it on Kindle Unlimited, you can find Renna and her wild adventures with dragons, and a type of magic that threatens to ruin all that she’s grown to love here.

Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing jit.
