End of May

Hello, Readers!

I had hoped to have Poisonous Revenge out to you this week, but unfortunately, my timeline for release got pushed off. It still has a release date of this month, however, it will be the end of the month.

As soon as I get the copy to the formatter then I will release the cover so that you can see it in all its glory. My cover artists/formatter has really done an amazing job on it. It’s absolutely perfect. I simply can’t wait to see what she does for the rest of them.

I’m sure like a lot of you it is the end of school time, rather for yourselves or for your children. Like always we have a series of things that our youngest will be doing over the next few weeks. It is so hard to believe that next year is her final year of high school. The time has gone so rapidly.

She, like so many others, is going through a lot of stress. With finals in her early college courses and testing in her regular high school classes, she is feeling the final weeks squeeze. It has definitely left her in a bit of a frazzled state of being. If you have any methods of relieving some of that stress that works for you or your children, please drop a message and share it here. I’m sure there are more people that could use the help.

As for me, in a few weeks, we have family coming out for a visit, not to mention we are still on the hunt for a place to move. It will be a lot of fun to finally meet more of the hubby man’s side of the family. I know we talk a lot on Facebook, but it isn’t quite the same as meeting in person.

I did write up my list of the order in which books should get done. Again, I believe that is a bit of a control freak in myself. Another issue with being such a perfectionist and not the kind where you strive to do your work to the best of your ability.

I have a lot of friends that merely sit down and write whatever they are in the mood for and they do so until the book is done. That is what I’m going to be striving for. I simply can’t keep stressing myself out day and night. I’m not sleeping, which really isn’t all that uncommon during the warmer months. I often have insomnia due to this apartment getting so hot even at night, however, this time it is due to stressing myself out.

So, I apologize for the late release of Poisonous Revenge after I told you it would be mid-May. I assure you that I am working as hard as I can to get it out to you. Thank you again for all the support.

Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.

  1. Good luck! Some stress relieving ideas.. coloring, puzzles, cake baking, whatever her hobby is, does she enjoy singing or dancing? Find one thing and let her find a time limit that won’t stress her and let her choose that the trick is to relieve stress not add it. Good luck to her and her classes!
