I thank the fact that I take vitamins on a regular basis. My entire family came down sick with a sinus, upper respiratory tract cold. Being the type of person I am, I jumped in to take care of all of them. However, that put me at risk for catching what they had. Most of them are still struggling with the cough.
Thanks to the vitamins that I take, I passed the cold out of my system in 2 days and it remained a sinus cold. I praise all for that. I’m no good sick.
That being said, we are coming to the end of September and we are gearing up for the fall season in all of its glory. Just now as I look out my window in Utah it is overcast with gray clouds and the weather is calling for thunderstorms and rain in the valley all weekend. Even temps as low as 51 degrees Fahrenheit. In the mountains they are calling for snow and along the upper benches of the mountain. We miss that area by a few miles, but we certainly will get the rain.
This is the time of year my heart is the happiest. I love hoodies, warm comfy pants and hot apple cider. I’m also by far more productive in the cooler seasons. I sleep better and longer which allows me to wake up feeling invigorated. Not the three hours of miserable sleep I get during the Summer months.
That being said, I have also signed back up for NaNoWriMo in November as well. Currently it is set for the novel I’m working on, Shifted Magic, the Treaty of Dragons Series book 3. However, if I get the book finished, which is my hope before that point, then I’ll be working on book 4 in that series during that time.
I’m also participating in a reading group on Facebook as well, which is nice. As I’ve taken far too much time away from reading I do hope that will help me get back into reading fiction once more. Not to mention I recently purchased a new book, Creative Calling: Establish a Daily Practice, Infuse Your World with Meaning, and Succeed in Work + Life. That is my nonfiction book I’m currently working on.
So far I am really enjoying it. I’m hoping it will help me create a daily practice of creativity in my life and help me focus on me and my career.
As for my writing career, seriously, I cannot thank you readers enough for all of the support that you have given me. It truly is appreciated.
Also, on that note, I am hoping to release Shifted Magic later this year, if not early January. I want to try to get as much writing in during these cooler months as possible and release novels as I’m not sure what Summer time will entail for me.
Not only due to my youngest daughter graduating high school in the Spring, but due to the weather heating up so my sleep going haywire once more. Over the remainder of this school year, I believe the hubby man and I will be in discuss for what this next chapter of our lives will look like. Rather we will be moving closer to his work so his transmute isn’t so long or rather we are going to decide on something else.
I’m also hoping that a visit back in with my doctor will help to adjust medications and get on new ones to help control these horrible and exhausting anxiety attacks and control my depression better.
So, here is to moving forward and taking control of my life and my mental health.
