Happy New Year

Hello, Readers!

It’s good to see all of you for another year. A lot of people are calling this the year of perfect vision. It’s a way to see our goals clearly and achieve them. I really do like the sound of it due to the fact that I have set my goals for this year once more. I not only have done that, but I have a plan of action as well.

Coming up with these things has never been a problem for me. It is the motivation and habit to stick with them as the rush of the new year wears off. You could say like all New Years Resolutions. Once the shiny wears off that goal or dream then it falls to the way side.

That is one of the reasons why I never call mine New Years Resolutions. They are more plans of action for the coming year. Of course, I have plenty of mine fall through regardless. Which is always frustrating when you look back at the end of the year and wonder what happened.

One thing I want to practice more of this year is being grateful for the things and life I have. I truly am blessed in so many ways. I’d love to focus more on those things than on the lack in my life. If I’m honest, I’m really not lacking anything in life. I simply forget to look at the brighter side when things go sideways.

So, here is to a new year, one in which we have 366 chapters to write and our own ending to plan. We can design our year, but we have to be willing to put in the effort, even in the hard times to stay on track for that. Not only that, but life throws punches. We have to learn to dodge, weave, and reroute if we must, but never forget our end goal.

Now, it is time for me to dig into the other work for the day. Until next time, Happy New Year and remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.

  1. That’s a great idea setting goals and how to accomplish them. I’m keeping mine very simple so if something happens I can still accomplish my goals
