Returning to a Normal

Hello, Readers!

Today is the first day the hubby man has returned to work from his Christmas break. The Christmas is down and our house has all the furniture put back to normal. There is only a few last things to do before the house is back to a normal operating system, which is reassemble the bathrooms and kitchen from the inspection and spray down yesterday.

That should be done by the end of today. I’d love to say that everything should be back to a normal way of life, but I have to admit, I’m struggling to find my footing once more.

The entire beginning of the month has been complete chaos and it seems just as we are getting settled into a normal another thing is thrown into the mix. I’ve been grasping at ropes trying to keep my head above water and it isn’t working.

If I allow this to continue it will until I cycle through an ugly depression. I can feel it already creeping in on me. However, I’m not going to sit here and complain about it. I’m instead going to make an action plan of things I need to do to get my world back in order, such as putting away the things and I will do that between writing sprints.

That way I’m also getting some writing done as well. I also have to balance tending children while their mother runs down to the laundry building to work on that as well. One way or another I will get things accomplished today so that I have less to stress over tomorrow and can focus more on getting my writing done.

Until next time, remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing.

  1. I always dread the end of one year and first beginning of another. We have constant inspections of various degrees where I am. It makes it impossible to be at peace for a moment.

    1. Yeah, as if recovering from the holidays and reassembling your house isn’t enough of a stress lets add on inspections for the fun of it. We’ve made it past ours and the rooms are reassembled once more so, I can settle back into a normal life order once more. I hope yours goes well and you can return to a normal soon as well.
