Putting Things Back Together

Hello, Readers!

As most of you can tell I fell off the planet again. It wasn’t intentional, but a by product of not taking good care of myself. Due to such a thing, I did not lose as much weight in the ten days as I had hoped to lose. While I am still losing so I am proud of that, I know I can do better to take care of myself, so that part disappointed me.

However, once I let myself feel a little self pity, I then picked myself up and dusted me off. Needless to say, I’m back on track and ready to kick some behind. I’ve got my schedule all figured out and it has helped keep me motivated and on track. The trick will be to stick with it longer than a few days. I’ve done it before, though, and I can do it again.

So, here is to spending February getting back to where I need to be. I am hoping to have the first draft of the horror novel that I am working on done by the end of this month. That way I can continue work on Shifted Magic and fix where I got stuck at the beginning of March.

I am still settled on releasing four books this year, which means, I need to get a move on it. I’d love to see the next two books out for the Treaty of Dragons series as well as two psychological horrors. That is the plan I have set in motion and I’ve worked hard on getting things in place to make that possible.

It will take me writing about 4,000 words a day, which should work. I can even find a few days in there where I could write more. There is nothing wrong with being ahead of schedule for me. It is when I fall behind that my anxiety and depression really kick my behind.

Now comes the hard part when it comes to adjusting scheduling and such. It takes about two weeks of fighting my body to really get it set into a habit. So, here is to the next few weeks of demanding I stick to this schedule.

I’ve also promised myself that I will pick up reading once more as well. I have to admit I set a rather lofty goal for my reading goal this year, which would put me at 2 books a week. Problem is, I spent the entire month of January reading nothing. I’m not sure that I will still hit my reading goal, but I’m certainly going to try to get there as close as possible.

I’m hoping with my sleeping improving that I will have more energy to accomplish the things which I’ve set out for myself. I know I’m always happier when I’m working toward my goals. Here is to getting back on track and reaching for the moon.

Until next time remember to L.O.L. (Live it, Own it, Love it) or it isn’t worth doing
